Image
This summer, my husband and I thought of exploring a different side of Uttarakhand. Since we have traveled to Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh plenty of times in the past, there were a lot of unseen places to visit in Kumaon region that we could go to. We thought it would be a nice idea, to begin with lesser traveled places in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand like Bhimtal, Binsar, Kausani etc. Details of our trip to Uttarakhand While searching for places to visit in Kumaon, I bumped into a few handy blogs written on the TravelTriangle website. On that page itself, I got to know that they could help us book an Uttarakhand package as well. I filled up a small form, and soon enough a TravelTriangle representative reached out to me and understood my requirement for the vacation. After receiving quotes from multiple agents, I chose the package given to me by ‘Spotnic Private Limited’ travel agency. The package was cost effective and covered most of the places we wanted to see. Trip Durati

I wanted to do skiing and as you know Auli Laga Joshimath is the premier destination in India for skiing. And hence I planned an Uttarakhand travel. But not just that. The primary reason being Mahashivratri and as I am a Shiva devotee, I wished to trek to the world’s highest Shiva temple in Tungnath. It’s always recommended to reach Rishikesh and then start for Joshimath the next day. But as we had a personal car, we decided to drive at a stretch as much as possible so as to reach the nearby Joshimath. We preferred the  Lansdowne – Pauri route  as it has no tolls,  less traffic and landslides . It a good decision to skip the ‘all
